Ivaylo Spasimirov was born in 1985 in Haskovo. He completed his secondary education at the Elias Canetti Vocational School of Economics in Ruse.
In 2008 he graduated from NATFA "K. Sarafov" -Sofia, with a major in "Acting for drama theatre" in the class of Prof. Stefan Danailov.
During his studies, he acted in performances of Sofia theatres - "Good Night, Patricia", "King Lear" by W. Shakespeare, and "Ah, this Jazz".
Since 2008 he is part of the Drama Theatre - Lovech. On the Sava Ognyanov Drama Theatre stage, Ivaylo Spasimirov played several roles that shaped him as a talented young artist. He played a main role in the performances "Turn Back in Anger" by J. Osborne, "Big Money" by A. Ayckbourn, "Pseudomorals" by I. Bergman, "A Mournful Family" by Br. Nusic, etc.
For outstanding acting in 2012, he received the award of the Municipality of Lovech- "Lovech Sword", in the category "Performing Arts".
He has acted in foreign film productions and Bulgarian films, as well as in the TV series "Morning Block" with Todor Kolev.
